  1. Having lost one eye to AMD with retinal hemorrhage, I find it increasingly difficult to locate items that often are not that far away.
    Remembering to look UP and DOWN, sideways & under the cabinets is something that used to be automatic. I have discovered that I require much more LIGHT while searching. I now own about 8 LED flashlights. They have been a big help, especially when digging around in the freezer. Contrast is now a problem, but the extra light really makes things stand out more clearly.
    These small flashlights can often be purchased inexpensively, especially if bought in packages of 5 or more. Enough for
    every room!
