There are special programs call apps (short for applications) that are used on computers and tablets and smartphones that help you to read e-books (short for electronic-books) and listen to audiobooks. There are also devices called e-readers which specialize in reading e-books and listening to audiobooks.
But not everyone has one of those and not everyone wants one. What are the other options?
Reading printed materials
There are basically 2 ways to read printed materials (like books) with low vision:
- Use magnification to enlarge the print.
- Get printed books in large print.
